1. Witeithie Ward

Witeithie Ward is one of the most populated wards out of the five in Juja. It is mostly inhabited with young families, students and also by the people who are trying to figure out their life. In other words, Witeitheie ward belongs to the low to middle-income earners and this is fueled by the affordable housing options that the area offers.

This is due to its proximity to the Nairobi town.

4. Juja Ward

Juja is the educational power house with its identity being the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), one of Kenya’s most respected institutions of higher learning in Africa. The university has gained popularity operating in an international level. It allows thousands of students from various places across the world.

This with such institution, the population at Juja is very high. This factor has majorly accelerated the development of the town with rental housing, hostels, apartments, restaurants and fast-food outlets, internet cafes and laundry services being established.

The place promotes small hustles, and start-up-business without much effort and this is because of the ready market surrounding these places. The revenue collected from these businesses are used to fuel the economy.
